CALGARY, Aug. 30.—(CP)—Lieut. William A. Martyn, Royal Navy (fleet air arm), 24-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Martyn of Calgary, has been mentioned in despatches “for bravery and continued devotion to duty in combatting enemy aircraft,” his parents were advised in a cable from London.
